Catastrophic 7.0 earthquake on the island. These poor people they have struggled in the last few years to cope with devastating floods and worse...and now this.
We have to stop and think about taking more care for the earth. Our children and children's children will hate us if we don't recognize and take complete responsibility for our way of life. Because they will PAY...there is no doubt about this, we are on the cusp and can continue to ignore the massive problem...but they will not have this as a choice. Their daily lives will be governed by our ignorance.
They had a massive new hospital under construction and this has collapsed! Terrible for all of those people.
